I have been doing swimming lessons for the last two weeks. I have been doing swimming lessons and it's been fun. I have learnt about how to be safe in the pool.
One of the things we have done is life jackets and the boat so how to be safe in a boat and a lifejacket. We have went into the boat and we hoped in and went under it with the life jackets on so we can float. We also went in our Pijarmies and felt what it would be like to go in water with real clothes. We did a whirlpool and we went around the pool and felt what it would be like to have normal clothes on in the pool if we had to get in and save someone
Another thing we did was practising water polo and the score is Boys have 2 and girls have 2 points.
I I have Learnt that using a kickboard will help you swim on your front easier
I felt kinda nervous when I had to swim on my front for the first time this year and I'm not that good at swimming so that's also why I felt a little nervous
Next time I am excited for swimming sports and my races I chose
The thing I will remember the most about this years swim safe lessons is listening to the instructors so you know what to do.
