T4 Celebrations 2020!

Hi guys. 

I am doing a blog post about my celebrations for this term. I have done all my celebrations, I did maths celebration on Monday, Reading celebration on Tuesday and my Writing celebration on Wednesday. I am proud of this and this is a example of were my 2 sentence starters. I said my example ( what my piece of work was) After my example I say what I am proud of. I am proud of etc. A celebration is a thing where you have to make a slide/document and then make a title page, after that you put your 3 examples on your slide/document then you say what they are then what you are proud of. Here is my reading celebration for a example.

My poem writing

 Hi bloggers. I am talking about my poem writing. I have a screencast of my poem and a screencast of how I i did this and what the strengths and weaknesses. Do you know lots about poetry? Poetry is a big long sentence and then you put it into phrases. Then you screencast it. ASB get wise money unit with Jeff

 Hi guys. My class got to learn about money with Jeff from the ASB Get Wise Programme. He helped us to learn about basic things of money, debit cards, banks and more. Debit cards are your own money from the bank. The shop person made the computer  ask twenty dollars from Jeffs bank account to Pagies shop. Twenty dollars for the wristbands for Jeff because his hands were cold. There's no photos of Jeff and everything. Do you know lots about money? We do now. Bye bloggers.

The class trip

Last week on Thursday Te Mahuri went on a farm trip to the farm where Miss Dods lives. I had lots of fun and I liked walking across the fields, the drive, and the trailer ride at the end. I liked eating my lunch at the rocks and we saw the waimak. I liked riding in the trailer because it was bumpy. I got to go over the water race, and we learnt that the farmers are making the water better because lots of trees and plants were cut down, in the water race so the farmers were planting more plants and trees. I liked getting fresh air and seeing the little dog, that was the farmers dog. Here's some photos of my class at the farm trip. Bye guys!

My algebra equations

I have finished my Algebra Equations and I have been learning about things like 4+8=12 and you have to add on the 8. Do you know algebra equations? Also for my maths we had to do studyladder. I got my studyladder done as well. My algebra equations were hard at first but they got easier over time. I know lots of algebra equations now. I can tell you what it is, algebra is just a missing number! sounds weird right? it is weird but that's what algebra is. Please Comment on my blog. look at my slides there cool as well. Bye.

my goals for term 4

 Hi Guys I am gonna show you my goals for term 4. I know i haven't been recent because of the school holidays but my first blog post of term four is here! I hope you guys will like it so let's get into it! So as you can see my goals are down there on my google drawing. Harold the graiffe

Hi guys. Today I went to see Harold the Giraffe. I also got to see a Harold Puppet that Keri was moving the Harold puppet around. Keri was the girl holding Harold.This is a picture of Harold and Keri. Keri taght us about how to control our feeling and we had a brain the size around 8cm. To some people that would be small but no if you look at this photo you will see 8cm is actually pretty large. It also might be a little gross. We also learnt that we had a sort of long stick that held up our brain and communicated with the other parts of the body that the brain wanted to move. It went through the spine chain, that connected to most of the other parts of the body. there is a guard dog and the guard dog controls your feelings here is a picture of the guard dog. I also learnt that there is a wise owl to calm our guard dog down if he get angry and gos grrrr WOOF. I hope you like the wise owl photo. Reading on 19/8/2020

 Hi Bloggers!! I am talking about my reading that i did today. today in reading I had to draw a window for the most significant event. I have been working with a story called treasure, and it was by Sarah black. It's about three lazy brothers called Mumbo, Jumbo and Gumbo all they did was watch movies, eat potato chips and burp. there was also a farmer who worked the farm but he passed away. To do this activity I had to imagine I was standing watching the most important event of the story. I was proud that I did all of my window in 7 mins or something like that. I think I should improve next time is to make my writing more neater so people can read it. Here is my Screenshot of my slide

cross country

Hi Bloggers.

 Today I am talking about Cross County. My mum was there encouraging the runners, like come on you can do it! I was one of the year 5 runners. The year five cross country was 2 laps around the field then around the edge of the little field. Then down the footpath next to the road then into the domain, 1 lap around the whole domain then past the playground then down the footpath then 1 lap around the big field. Then up to the finish. I was proud of myself finishing cross country.

Matilda, my cow going to the butcher on the first day of term 3!!!!

Hi Guys! As you saw in the title Matilda was taken to the butcher and is still there. I feel sad for Matilda but it is what it is. Matilda was very fat. I hope Matilda's meat comes to my house soon. I'm getting sick of vegetables. Meat is more yum than vegetable's that's for sure. I know vegetable's are good  for you but most vegetables are yucky to me. Matilda was our only cow. Matilda went to the butcher on Monday 20th July 2020 at 11.00 o'clock. I had a little bit of Matilda's meat on Tuesday the 21st of July 2020 at 5.30 PM.

My end of term blog

Hi guys. We all know it's the end of term 2. I hope you all had a good term two and have a good start to term 3. I need to do my last blog post for this term so here it is.

I have done my Famous People Investigations, and I made a poster on canva. I have slides about my Famous People Investigations and a one slide info recap, all controlled c and controlled v all my information from my Famous People Investigations to my Famous People recap slide. I have a post on canva with some more information about Alexander Graham Bell, the person i'm studying. I like how I have so much information about Alexander Graham Bell. The tm shop

Hi bloggers. last Thursday we had to answer maths questions to earn money and I got $31.70. We had to earn HERO cards which were 50c and I got two so I got $1. from the HERO card and $30.70 from the maths questions.  I hope you liked it. BYE!!!!!!!!!!1

My reading

Hi guys. I have finished my australian stingless bee work. I have worked very hard and have put a lot of information in my workbook. I hope you like my work and also comment!

 I had a buddy to comment on my workbook! I commented on Caseys ( my buddy) workbook. Casey commented on my australian stingless bee workbook.

 I used my sheet of australian stingless bees to find out information, to put it on my slides. I used full sentences for my answers.

My challenge was to make a poster on slide ten about australian stingless bees. My other challenge was doing my bee upgrade because it was tricky to do a lot of shapes and also doing my information web. Slide ten was my poster.

 On slide thirteen I have a strange fight going on with the australian stingless bees. Slide thirteen is pretty cool because of the bee upgrade I call punchie punchers On slide eleven I have a link to my animation.

what i did in lockdown

Funny pranks!!

Hey guys. Dylan B here with another blog. I have been learning to duplicate slides and move a character from one side to the other. I have been making a funny prank animation. I have made a new record of the whole class, 105 slides in one day. With only 30 mins!!  pretty cool right?? Well you are going to like it. It's about a naughty boy who was super mean and strong, but something happened that changed all that. Here it is... my animation.

This week we were learning about maths. We have been doing Geometry. Geometry was fun, because Maths is my favourite part of the day. Maths is fun because you answer number questions. maybe you could learn a bit, of perimeter.  You might have slides or a document. You could have google sheets as well.
